Hello reads, it is June. I cannot help, but feel time flies.
On May 31st I received the following gross dividends.
- $31.00 – PowerShares CEF Income Composite Portfolio (PCEF)
- $ 2.99 – PowerSgares S&P 500 High Dividend Low Volatility Portfolio (SPHD)
These two are monthly dividend paying ETF’s, but both of them have reduced its monthly dividends in May.
First of all, PCEF. Its dividend in May was 11% lower than the previous month. Specifically, down from $0.15103 per share to $0.13478 per share as you can see in the table below.
Next, SPHD. It lowered its monthly dividend in May by 20% than April. This has been the first time that its monthly dividend per share is less than $0.1. I really want to know why this happened from the fund manager of SPHD.
With these my gross dividend income for May has become $1,025.33, which is an increase of $74.56(7.8%) YOY.
Disclosure: Long PCEF, SPHD
