If you add $40,000 new money and if you invest in 3% or higher yield dividend growth stock, you will get at least $100 monthly gross dividend income. If you continue to invest $40,000 per year for 10 years, you will eventually get at least $1,000 gross dividend per month. Wow, in total the principal is $400,000. Although saving $40,000 per year is quite unrealistic to me, $20,000 per year is doable to me for another three years or so. If I do so, monthly dividend will increase $50 per year and $500 per 10 years.
